The Game!

Today, Noelle Hairston and he intramural team are playing a game of volleyball at the Landings Apartments. This was set up by the friends of Noelle so that they could get some practice in and have some fun. Noelle and her team are all girls and they are playing a team full of boys tonight. The go back and forth, laugh and giggle, and enjoy their time playing volleyball in the sand while other people from the area sit and watch. Noelle's team wins the game by one point, but that does not seem to matter. Everyone seems to still be happy and they stick around after the game to talk and play around with one another.

Noelle Hairston is a senior who plays intramural volleyball at MSU. Intramural sports is very popular at a lot of colleges. It gives faculty, staff, and regular students the opportunity to play the sports they love with other people who also love the sport. It is also popular for students who played different sports in high school, but do not play on a college level. A lot of times even students who are a part of varsity college teams play intramural sports because they can play for fun and they don't have to focus on winning all the time.
